BROCHURES

For Cisco Systems, I described about how the company's networking solutions
can improve security and increase efficiency in brochures targeting  small businesses

and midsized businesses.

 

CASE STUDIES

This case study for the Computerworld Honors Program focuses on how the Port Authorities

of New York and New Jersey restored their E-Z Pass system after the main computers

were destroyed in the September 11 attacks.

 

CONSUMER ARTICLES

For Sun Microsystems' main website, I described the company's philanthropic efforts through its nonprofit organization and employees' volunteer work.

 

I wrote many articles for Identity Theft 911, a company helping people hit by identity theft to

restore their finances and personal lives. These articles show how individuals and businesses 

can protect themselves against the crime.

 

CUSTOMER PROFILES

For Cisco Systems, I wrote "success stories" about how the company's Secure Network

Foundation Solutions can expand technological benefits for a broad range of businesses,

from a local credit union to an expanding restaurant franchise.

 

DIRECT MAIL

For Intuit's Point of Sale product, the latest addition to its suite of Small Business software,

I wrote this pitch letter to prospective clients.

 

EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS

For Intuit's news Web site, I regularly wrote profiles of employees, customers and executives,

which are read by 7,000 employees nationwide. Recent examples include this article about

the company's call center service representatives,  and this profile of a prized Intuit customer.

 

For the consulting firm Capgemini, I wrote this report on a recent conference about outsourcing, showing how the process is being applied to all types of business processes.

 

EXECUTIVE SPEECHES AND ARTICLES

I regularly wrote Letter from the CEO, Intuit's chief executive monthly message to employees.

I also wrote corporate communications memos for the company's news website --

this article explains the reasons behind major shipment glitches during peak delivery times.

 

MARKETING COLLATERAL

For Intuit's QuickBooks software, I wrote marketing offers targeted to Costco and Sam's Club customers, as well as quarterly newsletters to current clients.

 

NEWSLETTERS

For Master Builder, a business software maker for the construction industry, I wrote the guidebook 101 Strategies to Make Your Construction Business More Profitable. I also wrote articles for the  "Business Advantage" quarterly newsletter sent out to clients.

 

I also wrote and edited a quarterly customer newsletter for nine credit unions in California, and a quarterly employee newsletter for KB Home.

 

WHITE PAPERS

For Capgemini Consulting, I wrote this white paper about the impact of information technology and electronic health records on healthcare organizations.
